![]() Watch how you BrushBrushing your teeth should be more than a mindless habit; you should focus on how you are doing it every time. Start by ensuring that you are spending enough time on cleaning your teeth. Typically two minutes at a time is the perfect amount of time to spend on cleaning your teeth. This gives you enough time in each section of your mouth. Why not spend around 30 seconds in each quadrant of your mouth? In addition to the time spent, however, is the need to watch how you brush; work in slow circular motions and make sure to hit every angle of your teeth.Don't Forget to FlossMany people don't focus on the importance of flossing, only performing it when they have "extra" time. The truth is you might not have that extra time if you skip this step. Take the time to floss in between each tooth at least once a day and you can greatly decrease your risk for heart disease! Think of it as a part of your diet and exercise plan - flossing is vital! Please call us today for your dental check-up and get your health back on track! |
