Six Months Smiles

Six Month Smiles are clear braces that are affordable and can straighten teeth in approximately six months. Six Month Smiles are intended to move only the front teeth; the wires/brackets are similar to traditional braces, except Six Month Smiles are a gentler way of moving the teeth with less force, which is a more comfortable process for the patient. Six Month Smiles can be worn in the more traditional manner of metal braces, or chosen to be worn in a completely clear color, making them less noticeable. Six Month Smiles are not intended for correcting more serious orthodontic issues; they are typically reserved for more subtle issues. Studies have shown that those with straighter teeth chew better, speak more clearly, have a decreased chance of unwanted tooth decay, and also experience decreased dental issues with age.

SIDE EFFECTS OF SIX-MONTH SMILES

The side effects of Six Month Smiles are extremely low if any at all. The most common problem is swollen gums, but that is common with almost any orthodontic work. Swollen gums will subside over time and if it continues through treatment, it will subside within approximately six months after the treatment is complete.
